Laowa 18mm F:2.8 Zero-D

Venus Optics is releasing a very tiny native GFX lens – Laowa 19mm f/2.8 Zero-D GFX

As a medium format Ultra-wide-angle lens, the 19mm f/2.8 Zero-D GFX is one of the smallest in its class with just 546g and 80mm in length, the company said. Despite the compact size, the lens can capture an AoV of 110-degrees with Zero Distortion. It also has an f/2.8 large aperture, helping photographers to shoot in darker environments or create a pleasing out-of-focus background. A 10-point Sunstar can be rendered from its 5 aperture blades by stopping down the aperture. This compact 19mm lens is also packed with a 77mm filter thread, photographers can easily use screw-in filters without the burden of a filter holder. With a minimum focusing distance of 18cm, creative shots that are extremely close to the subject can be made. This would be a not to be missed lens for anyone who loves architecture, landscape, and astrophotography.

The US price for Laowa 19mm f/2.8 Zero-D GFX is USD $999 for GFX mount. Pricing may vary in different countries.
